Evidence first
We prefer current official retailer delivery pages, terms, postcode matrices and help-centre articles. A source link is shown when we have one. Search snippets, customer reports and old policies can help us find a lead, but they are not treated as a strong current rule on their own.
Status labels
- Yes — the retailer publishes a reasonably clear delivery route for the area.
- Some / Partial — delivery exists but product type, weight, seller, courier, postcode or service level changes the answer.
- No — the retailer clearly excludes the area or postcode range from the relevant delivery service.
- Varies — marketplace, partner or checkout rules make a single yes/no misleading.
- Researching — we have not found strong enough current evidence yet.
Why exact postcode still matters
There is no single industry definition of “Scottish Highlands”, “Scottish Islands” or “remote”. A retailer may treat one IV, KW, PA or PH postcode differently from another. The postcode helper is therefore a shortcut to the most likely region, not a courier-zone guarantee.
Freshness
Each researched rule carries a review date. Retailer policies can change without notice, so the retailer’s own checkout remains the final authority.
